MY ART PROJECT- BEADS

Beads are generally symmetrical along a central axis and have a hole vertically down that axis or across a narrow end. Beads come in a variety of shapes, sizes and color. The most common beads are seed beads, bugle beads, and “cut” beads. There are many other varieties available though. Beads are popular item for making jewelry. When I was in high school, the trend was beaded bracelet and three years ago, the trend was beaded earrings. Beads have other uses besides making jewelry. One of the most popular uses for beads besides jewelry is decoration. The other one is simply string beads.

There are great ideas for the uses of beads:

1. to decorate greeting cards
2. to adorn dolls
3. to sew on quilts
4. to decorate purses
5. to decorate frames
6. a customized rosary
7. wine identifiers
8. tassels
9. on spines of handmade books
10. wall decors

I’ll use beads more in my future art projects.
