NOTE TO GOD

Several years ago, I faithfully prayed to you.  It happened @ Trappist Monastery with my officemates.  I asked your guidance for me to find a way out of a particular problem I was facing that time.  In return, I promised to visit the monastery every month in one year.  After a second, I received a text message.  It was an answer to my prayer.  It was not actually the solution but you delayed the process for me to find the way to solve it myself.  I said to myself, "Wow naman!  Ang lakas ng signal mo!"  (I actually am talking how powerful the prayer especially with strong faith.)  I fulfilled my promise to you.  I visited the monastery every month in one year.  In addition, I stopped having a sexual affair with a friend-with-benefits.  However, after 3 consecutive years I again committed mistakes.  I knew, you keep reminding me every time I do wrong.  I kept asking for forgiveness and several times I asked for a second chance.  I admitted my faults without regrets.  I have guilty factor instead.  Temptation is always around.  It is hard to be out of the dark space especially when you already mastered every corner.  Yet, I reached the point that I am not happy in that situation or arrangement.  I am not totally bad I know.  There are good things I do too.  But it is not enough to cover the whole part of me.  As of now, I am still struggling but I try my very best to do the right things.  I think all of these for a year.  Now I am asking you for the last chance.  You once showed to me and made me believe that you can hear prayers.  Though, you don't directly give the solution.  You always make a way.

Your birthday is near again.  I hope you will grant my wish and guide me in the right path.  To do only the right things and be a better person is actually a couple of priceless but worth gifts for you this year and onward.  I love you faithfully.  I am just stupid most of the time.

PAPARAZZI

The three celebrities I admire secretly.  They somehow inspired me since I discovered them.  I called them THE THREE KINGS

INTERNATIONAL:  Bruno Mars is an American singer-songwriter and record producer was born October 8, 1985.  His parents Pete Hernandez, a Puerto Rican and Bernadette, a Filipina named him Peter Gene Hernandez.  Most of his songs are on my playlists like Grenade, Just The Way You Are, Marry You, Lazy song and his new song "It Will Rain" which appeared on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

NATIONAL: Jericho Vibar Rosales or ECHO for short was born in Quezon City, Philippines on September 22, 1979.  He is one of my favorite Philippine singers and actors.  I like his song "Pusong Ligaw" and Beautiful In My Eyes in his own version.  He is the first favorite television actor via Pangako Sa 'Yo T.V. series.

LOCAL:  Jerson Janeo is the male grand winner of Campus Fashionista 2009.  He is then turned a ramp model.

I stopped a minute in the spring

to drink some water

I climbed up to reach the top.

168 steps all in all

I walked in the forest

In the end, I found the new model of Dingdong

A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR A NAUGHTY ANGEL

It was last September 17, 2011 that some of my co-workers and I chose to visit Trappist Monastery the last minute.  We went off to Guimaras island right after our office dismissal at one o'clock in the afternoon on a Saturday.

We were waiting the other four members of the group @ Parola wharf.

"Where na kamu gurl?"- message sent

on the board... and who's that boy?

we ate first as soon as we arrived in the monastery

It's time to roam around.

I want to introduce our newly hired co-workers- Jan and Ermz!

ALWAYS TAKE THE BEST SHOTS

There are best shots or moments I took in every place I've been.  And those souvenir shots or photos make me smile.  I treasure them. Those pictures are the proof of memorable moments and remind me that I am also lucky to enjoy life with other people and I am one of those people that appreciate the beauty of mother nature.  I believe that my purpose here on earth is not finding and having material things to make me happy.  I realized that I have to be happy with the things that I have and enjoy what life is to offer. I even think of changing or shifting another career (if there's any other option career available). Honestly, in my 13 years of working in an accounting office, I now reached the point that I feel unhappy.  Yes, I am not happy with the recent work situation.  I wish I  have a job that I can only make other people happy and earning at the same time.  I want a new job related to the concern and the goodness of other people. The job that is for the better only.  The particular job that is also related to nature, photography and not related to money and taxes. Money makes me evil and taxes teach me to lie. I am just talking about myself.

Anyways, in my recent escapade with some of my co-workers with their own family members, I took some photos of course and unexpectedly some turned the best for me.  Always aim for the best (daw)!

I like this sunset photo with my officemate's niece as a model.  She looked like a statue.  This picture is one of the sunset photos I took when we were watching the sunset.

We were able to climb and reached the top of the old Guisi lighthouse.  That's a fulfillment! I noticed the flying bird on the right.  Aim high!

There are still beautiful flowers growing in the ground of Guisi ruins.  The ruins lost its original state  of  beauty but it is stand out still and there's a beautiful story behind it to discover.  We enjoyed the first visit.

This photo shows the model as how she handle her real life.  She is determined, a positive thinker and an achiever. Step up for your dreams!

They are sisters.  They are both easy goers and beautiful!

They both influenced me to enjoy what the nature has to offer during our stay.  Strike it guys!

I am pretty sure you guys also have the best photo(s) during a particular trip or vacation.  It would be a beautiful view of nature, people, structure or you yourself that the turned to be one of the very memorable memories in your life to treasure forever.

SHARING IS ONE OF THE BEST THING THAT MY FATHER TAUGHT ME

It's more than a month already that I was in silence virtually (and even in real life).  I was in the state of mourning silently since September 19, 2011, the day my father died at the age of 84.  I was not close with my father.  Yes, I am still a Mama's boy.  But I inherited my art skill from my father.  I remembered when I was just a kid I wanted him to draw animals especially the dogs (lot's of dog positions).  He had a tattoo of Jesus on his left chest.  Like my mother, he didn't scolded me ever since until the day of his last breath.  He always given me a piece of advice and encouragement though he was not a total provider.  One thing that he taught me is how to be a true friend and how important to share something or give back to a good friend/person.  According to him, "it's not nice to always receive something, you must give something in return as well.  Just share what you have."

Here, I am again.  I am officially back blogging!  I have to update my blog this time because I don't want that it will die too. Kidding aside..   Here, I share something about SHARING.

I don't cook maybe because my masterpiece is mixing water colors and cutting colored papers on the drawing table.  On the contrary, I bet those who are good in kitchen are not good in arts.  But I love to treat my friends.  I thank or show my appreciation to people by giving foods.  It's kinda weird because I don't know how to cook in the first place.  So I always ended up buying foods for my friends or treat them in a restaurant.  And speaking of restaurant, one of my favorites is the MOOON Cafe in town.  It's a Mexican restaurant.

I had several Moon loyalty cards and I chose to redeem their Nacho de Salsa

I love their Sun cooler, Nacho de Salsa and Mooon steak!

And I want to introduce to you my personal friends that I can call my own.  (Though some of them I never have time to be together eating in my favorite restaurant yet.  I hope one of these days if the time permits.)

Rocee- my shy office mate and a friend.  She shares and voluntarily offer her helping hands in computer related works.  "Ako lang ma-obra SSS and Philhealth mo Tito Rod."

Totie-  a banker, He become my friend through a friend.  We go malling and hunting if we have free time together.  We share and talk our personal experiences.

Ma'am Fatima-  She's my classmate in grade school.  She's a teacher now.  We had a class reunion last December 2010.  We met again after and we had an unplanned dinner.  We reminisced the school old days.  We shared our future dreams and how to be out of being tagged as LAON.  Ha-ha.  Kidding.

Joseph-  a work related friend.  He is nice to me and helped me when I need something related to work.  Too bad, he resigned from his work.  We are not connected with each other anymore.  By the way, the beautiful little girl is her daughter.

Robelyn-  she is my bonggable high school classmate and friend.  I love her especially when she start to speak na.  never -ending updates, machika pa sa manok ang lola.  I missed her company.  We are both busy with our own laonit time, we even don't have time to text each other.  Murat mustah ka na?

Emely-  Like Robelyn, she's machika and we love each other's company, sometimes the three or four of us.  I missed to see her these last days and I owe her a visit because she already gave birth to a baby girl.  Maayo ka pa nakahingagaw gurl!  Ang iban da hipos-hipos lang.

Harry & Willie-  We called ourselves Gwapingsduring our high school days.  Ha-ha.  It's Harry I always with.  We see each other like almost every week but not these last few days.  We keep communicating through text though.  And I always see him on T.V. every Thursday as Nyora.  Nakakabusog yung mga punchlines niya.  On the otherhand,  Willie turned to be more reserved but he is remain the dessert, I mean sweet.  Harry and I got curious of him being so vain and silent most of the time.  Speak out!  Kidding.

Micai-  I would love her to be my lil sister.  Like Harry, she has great sense of humor.  She is so attentive.  But the best thing about her is being generous and thoughtful.  She surprised me several times already with her unique ideas, thoughts and stuff.  She always share unique and good things and most of all her positivity.

Ng Baby-  The so called baby yet an old lady.  Kidding.  We are co-workers and co-conspirators at the same time.  She is so much caring and always share her blessings.

Melanie and I are not born friends so to speak.  We get along together with Eta and Marigold.  Both become my friends and Melanie do so since she belong to the group of three sisterettes.  I am their fourth, ha-ha.  wala ka gid kuhaon sa iya.  I can't find the exact English words, pasensiya.

Marigold-  is my all time favorite goody goldy friend or my best friend to be specific or to define.  She shares everything, her hubby is excluded of course.  Lmao.  Actually she is the one who recommended the Mooon Cafe to me.  And she is the one who treated us.  She is the exception to this topic about my own share but all I can say is she's an exceptional, a very true friend.  And I wish, He will answer our prayers so soon.

There are special friends I still have unfortunately not included on this list.  I hope someday, we can sit and have a little chit-chat, share stories and laugh together as we savor our favorite foods.

I LOVE YOU ALL!

THE THINGS I STILL USE AND LOVE TO DO

There are things that I still use like some of the knitting mobile phone cases I made before.  It's somewhat durable and personally fashionable.  I stopped making  more though because I really don't have free time for the things I like to do.

one of the knitting mobile phone cases I made

Sometimes I wear it around my neck

I tied it around the belt loop most of the time.

My shirt and the mobile phone case is the same color always

On the other hand, I still personally wrap my gifts especially for some people that close to my heart or for people who inspired me a lot.

I personally choose the gift  myself.  Obviously, the favorite color of the gift recipient is violet/purple, isn't it?

It looked so plain and I was not contented.

I added the boarder-line ribbon

Something kulang pa rin

I added pockets both sides.
ready to give

Another gift I gave lately was a book for my high school friend and ka-birthday.  She's 8 months pregnant now.  This book is helpful for a first time mother to be.  She's the third person that received the same gift.

Remember, the manner of giving shows the character of the giver more than the gift itself.

How about you?  What the things you still use and love to do?
