BOOKS, TELESERYES AND DOGS

Lately, I hook on reading.  I found some interesting books @ the National Book Store. I bought "Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Suan by Bob Ong, Paper Cuts by Pam Pastor, Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom and The Overnight Socialite by Bridie Clark.  And I've done reading them.

My sister and I love watching teleseryes at the same time from Noah to Imortal.  And tonight is the pilot episode of Mutya.  It is a fantasy series based on Pablo Gomez' comic of the same title. The said teleserye will introduce the newest discovery of ABS-CBN, Mutya Orquia.  She will be supported by Precious Lara Quigaman, Alfred Vargas, Malou Crisologo, NiƱa Jose, Sandy Andolong, Ogie Diaz, Jayson Gainza, Tess Antonio, Pen Medina, Gay Lim, Ahron Villena and Jairus Aquino.  Powerhouse cast indeed!  It is directed by Erick Salud and Jojo Saguin.

We watch T.V. with our dogs, Pokie and Dodie.  Panda doesn't care much to be with us.

Pokie doesn't care much for television.  She would rather lay down and rest.  When she is in the mood to play, she loves to jump up to me.

Bodie on the other hand, doesn't thrill in reading.  He has been known to "chew" on the books.

Nevertheless, when my sister and I read or watch T.V., they both participate.  Even though they doesn't enjoy what we are doing.  They are both our devoted dogs.  More than anything they want to be with us.  Sabi nga ng sis ko, "Mabuti pa ang aso marunong maglambing.  Merong loyalty."

GINOONG DINAGYANG & THE DINAGYANG COSTUMES

I witnessed the DINAGYANG FESTIVAL 2011- Ati Ati Competition on stage with Eva and her own family.  Though our seats were far from each other, still we enjoyed every performance.  Unfortunately, I was not ale to take some photo shoots because I was focused in every tribe's performance.

On the otherhand, I watched the Ginoong Dinagyang 2011 finals with some friends at Gaisano City in the same day.

MY POSTCARD COLLECTION- UAE POSTCARD

I just renewed my P.O. Box rental for this year.  It increased two folds!  I have no choice but to continue renting the Postal box because I am still active in postcrossing project and I still love it!

Out of the ten postcards I got today from my box, this is my most favorite.  It's actually my first time to have a postcard from U.A.E.  Not from the postcrossing project but from my postcrossing friend turned online friend Fabrice and Laurant.  They both visited the said country last December 2010 for a vacation.  How sweet they are.  I still owe them an email reply and a snail mail.  Anyways, thank you guys.  I'll write to you ASAP.

THE DINAGYANG FESTIVAL 2011 IS MERRIER

I was so excited to meet Eva (my high school classmate) and her family.  They planned to witnessed Dinagyang Festival 2011.  We regularly communicate on Facebook but meeting personally is quite different. It's been a long time back in our high school days.

They arrived Friday afternoon and dropped by in my office to get the car pass I secured for them.

Finally, we met on Saturday night with our two other high school classmates namely Emely and Robelyn.  In short, it was fun!  We want to thank Eva and her hubby for the great dinner plus the inuman.

On the next day, we watched the Ati Ati competition.  And separated ways after the said event. I was with my other friends the rest of the day.
That's the newly Iloilo Slogan of the newly elected Mayor, Honorable Jed Patrick Mabilog.  "My city, my pride.  That's it!

The crowd...  I can say Dinagyang Festival 2011 is a success!  More people, more merry this year.
