SATURDATE

Before anything else, I wanna greet you all a LATE Happy Halloween!

Saturdate is the trend term nowadays.  Plus the Sundate.  No more weekend date term.  Whether it's an old weekend date or the modern term Saturdate or Sundate, the most important is we have quality time for our family and friends on weekends.

Our first Saturdate was wonderful! I had quality time with my officemates. It was a great afternoon despite of heavy rain. I was with great people. Had our late lunch at Mc Do- Megaworld Iloilo. It was our FIRST time there. It was nice to be with the girls of different personalities but funny all in one. (T ano na lng to ya as if nakamonopod gle pero ang sa tupad table gnapicturan bala.)ahaha. After lunch we headed to SM City- Iloilo. (Kinaya ang 6 persons sa isa lng ka taxi). It was my FIRST time to play shoot that ball whatever they call it. Nahawa ako sa mga bata. Ahahaha. We played until napagod na sila. We went to Plazuela for taking more group photos while we were waiting our reservation time at Horizon Cafe. Then, Nyora arrived and it was the FIRST time for some girls to meet her personally. We had our funny moment in the elevator. Finally, we reached the cafe on the top (21st floor) again for the FIRST time. Had our dinner over the sunset.

On the following weekend, we had our second Saturdate.  This time we had Iloy John.  He was not able to be with us on the first date so he treated us a lunch.  We spent quality time with him at Ramboy's.  In the afternoon on the same day, we went to Esplanade until late early night. Walking along boardwalk to Smallville to find a decent and affordable resto,  It was Laila's birthday! And she treated us a dinner at Freska- eat all you can!

We went to Guimaras on our third Saturdate.   It was a roadtrip Saturdate.  We visited the windmills in San Lorenzo, Guimaras.  We really had fun!  It was a new journey, new adventure with new people and a great expeience once again.

Our fourth Saturdate was out of town.  Laila invited us to celebrate her daughter's birthday, my goddaughter, Aila Isadora.  Aside from kainin, we had singing and drinking session until seven in the evening.  And before we went home, we dropped by at the town plaza to witness the food fest.

Well well guys.  That's all for now.  I hope there will be more Saturdates!  See you here next time.

A WEEK FULL OF HAPPINESS

HELLO BLOGOSPHERE!

It's always been awhile.  As expected, I rarely active in blogging.  Obviously, I am more active in the outside world.  Well, well, well.  Much things to share but no time to type.  What important is I enjoy the outside world and I'm pretty sure you too!

For the meantime, I wanna share a week of my life's happiness  in October.   Oh btw, I really love with some of the phone applications,  it helps me make my own creativity virtually.  Sad to say, I have no  more time doing personal crafts but still love to do it sometime in the future.

I am contented with only one menu on the table before. But now, I  sometimes try new menu or new things.

I always busy at work and I always with people almost everyday.  Still, I give quality time for myself.  They call it "ME" or alone time.

Jollibee is my all time fast food favorite!  They always offer new menu.  Pancake is the newest on the list.  But I am fall in love with jolly spaghetti for life!

Throwback Thursday is the web trend that you need to post an old picture of you every Thursday on social networking sites like facebook, twitter and  instagram . So did I.

Siomai is one of my favorite comfort foods especially if it's fried.  (tulo-laway).  I am not a lomi lover.  I just wanna avail that piece of cake.  Ha-ha.

When it comes to pasta and pizza, I prefer to dine or to go in Greenwich.  It is because they have this combo of pasta and pizza in an affordable price!  Not to mention that I admired John Lloyd Cruz.

And this is what I said earlier on Wednesday weekly entry, the Jollibee!

So there you have it, a weekly happiness full of foods Till then.

A CRAFTY WEEK

Hankie (particularly the Armando Caruso brand) was part of my collection way  way back in 2009 and backward.  I only stopped collecting when I had already hundreds of them.  But I still have them until now and I only lost one from my collection!  Obviously, I am good in taking care of my belongings.  It's the good attitude I learned from my mother.

Only last week I got the idea of making crafty hankie as stress-reliever everyday. I immediately searched on how to do with the hankie in a crafty way.  Thanks to the online tutorial!  So there they are!  Let the photos speak.

I wanna greet my two great buddies a happy birthday!  I love you both and I really appreciate your goodness.

That's all for this time!

MY PERSONAL IDEAS AND LESSONS IN GIVING AND RECEVING GIFTS

I neglected this blog for several months until its domain name was expired last May 2014.  As you can see, my  last post was on March.  The month of April is the busiest month in my career.  I was struggling to continue the Project:Baby I had in the month of May.  Yet, I finally decided to end the said project before its anniversary in the month of June.  Like what I've posted on Facebook, "If you watered a plant for a year and it didn't grow, would you keep watering it? Or realize you have bad seeds. Wake up and move on. Find some new seeds and plant it. Let it grow. So this July, I continue finding a new subject for the said project.  Not the baby itself but to continue making people happy in my own little ways.  It all started when I read a book about Project Happiness.

My job is into paper works and I can say paper is my happiness at the same time especially when it's pay day, paper money!

Paper is my art, it's my stress reliever.  And I love giving gifts, it's my way of showing my appreciation.  This gift wrapped in green motif because the fave color of the gift-receiver is obviously green.  And the color of the gift itself of course is green!

Sometimes, I have no time to wrap gifts na pa-bonggahan.  I just bought ready to give gift box.  Usually kapag lalaki yung gift-receiver mas gusto nila simply lang.  Kaya idaan na lang sa personalized gift tag.  These gift tags were my personal choice since both of them are into basketball.

The receiver of this gift is not a pro Pnoy but yellow is her favorite color!  When I saw this pouch, siya talaga ang naisip ko.  Ako kasi, I don't wait any special occasions to give gifts.
Mismo ako kasi ang excited na magbigay.

This cracker lookalike gift wrapping is bagay sa mga cologne na pang regalo.

Sometimes I don't have any idea what to give as a gift especially when you don't have any idea pa about the person, kung ano ang mga hilig niya.  So, cash gift is the last choice.  A money shirt makes a unique way to give.  This money origami shirt and necktie is folded from a single bill.  Trousers is another bill and the dress is a single bill as well. The origami inventor of the design is Stefan Delecat.  I gave this cash gift for a certain lovers on their first year anniversary.

Lastly, the gift-receiver not only appreciate the gift but also the message on the gift tag. :-)

P.S.  Personal/verbal "Thank you" is much appreciated on the part of the giver. It will inspire him/her to give more.

THE PAPER BOXES- ADVANCE HAPPY EASTER

I woke up at around 3 am because of a bad dream.  I was about to cry in that dream scene with my family.  Ha-ha.  As I remember, it's more than 2 years already that I last cried.  Back then, I felt heart pain when I woke up.   Instead of going back to sleep, I decided to go online to comfort myself and in order to forget that nightmare.  I am listening to my latest favorite song "City of Dreams" now while typing this blog post.

Don't let bad vibes enter your system.  Dapat good vibes palagi.  Kaya, despite of busy days at work insert tax season, I find time or shall I say "we" find time to relax and de-stress. So every time, I  feel  weak cause of stress, I excuse myself and go to the nearest grocery store and buy comfort foods or treat myself with sweets.  I love cakes and chocolates plus ice cream insert tulo-laway.

Or we order to go at the nearest Jollibee branch and have a chit chat with my co-workers.  That pretty lady in violet loves and never tire of eating jolly spaghetti.  Sino pa naman ang di maganahan sa lagay mo Beckyjeans.  Ha-ha.

Or take a minute or two to pose (cam-whoring) just to de-stress ourselves from work.

Personally, I do crafts and arts everytime stress strikes me.  Kahit sa office dala ko pa rin ang hilig ko sa arts.  Yet, I am not the only one who is creative.  Almost of my officemates have their own creative side.  One of them is Miss Janine Cho, a Korean K-pop fanatic.  She even can speak Korean.  Ha-ha.  Saranghe!  We had an Origami session yesterday.  I was able to encourage her to teach me in making paper box, not related to Korean culture and arts  but she agreed. She said yes!  She hated me though of taking photos of her while making small paper boxes but I don't care Sandara!

The first step is to fold the corners of each square to the center, using a bone folder (Scissor can be use.  Paraan-paraan lang yan) to make precise creases.  The rest of the steps, you can do search online if you are interested to make paper boxes or maybe you already know how.  I am just here sharing the real origami session.  :-)

Origami was derived from the Japanes word Oro, meaning "to fold", and Kami, meaning "paper".  Kahit sinisipon, keri lang.  Hold on mo lang yan 'te.

It is debatable whether Origami originated in Japan, Korea, or China.  Actually, the craft originated in China in the first or second century and wasn't practiced in Japan until five or six years later.

Paper-folding is strictly square paper, yet there are modern interpretations.  The newer forms demanded that all shapes be created from a single piece of paper using folds only.

And here the finished paper boxes of 8 in different colors.
Advance happy Easter to Jerry and his company.  The paper boxes of mothballs are for them.  They attacked my office cabinet and left some shit.

I hope my office cabinet will rat-free na!
