MERRY CHRISTMAS 2013 & HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014

Today, my memories go back to my childhood years. The picture of "Adam" was always more interesting to me. However, I came out late and only enjoyed being gay after college. Why did I wait so long? Today, I only  about it. If my life had been different because of my early coming out, I would have been a different person. I would not be the person I am now.

I would like to thank the people that were with me during my coming out and those that are still support me until now. Thank you too, sa paskwa nyo. MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope we will be supporting each other in the coming NEW YEAR and on-wards. Kay subong la ko paskwa sa inyo, next year bawi ko. 

OUR TAMBAYAN

We make Friday night special. Kung may family hapunan, we have our own version of it naman. We, the avatar prod family shares love and life as a secondary purpose.  Primarily, its main purpose is to promote world against hunger and world peace. 

We buy fish at Fish Port Complex, prepare and cook it @Ariel's cafe owned and managed by Ariel Melanio Galon. BTW, Ariel's Cafe offers ready to eat snacks, boiled egg, canton, noodles kag kape inclusive of hot water.

Back then, we helped each other in preparing the menu of the night. Here's Maricar Mendoza aka Melai inday and Jayson aka Bozz Balita. The PBB ex luvteam.

Jessica Bayoneta is the number one sexy avatar.  She assigned in adobo nga lucos kitchen dept.

KC short for king cobra (kidding cheche lng kace), is the number 2 sexy avatar. She was assigned in additional pampagana, pampainit nga panakot. It hurts you know, esta it's hot! Lady in red, lady na kakabreak.

Oh shine bright like a diamond, Shyne Palomero Fuentes. The CIC, the lagting ATTY soon the expert chef muna ngayon and the great lover. I believe that in order to be like her as a great lover, one should be a diplomat in all arguments; a whore in bed and a cook in the kitchen dept.

Solo flight si Romeo Bordamonte. Si Roming gle aka pangunyadi aka ugtas diva pati ah #Kagawad na xa. Di xa magpadalagan subong ke hulaton nya ang city councilor election. Solo-solo ka lng kay wala si Lao HadyInchindihan mo man na ke nagserbisyo publiko man to xa.

     

Late dinner is ready under the moon with our special guests Doc Saiton and Rex.  We are family.... graduate na kami ya sa nightout. Sa tambayan libre kadlaw, libre wakal- the real happiness indeed.

HOLY WEEK 2013

Since I can't still sleep yet insert yawn, I decided to blog.  So many happenings I missed to share here.  Finally, I am now in the mood and in mode of catching up things insert yawn once more.

The Madurar's mother-and-daughter and I have been together especially during out of town trips, road trips and nature-tripping since last year.

MY BIRTHDAY 2013

I know it's too late to post about my birthday yet, it's better late than never, ika nga.  I-Post lang pag may time.  So ngayon lang ako nagkaroon ng time.  Yes, maswerte ang time kapag binigyan ko siya ng pagkakataon.  At naging throwback na lamang post na 'to.

As far as I can remember, I did not celebrate my birthday na.  Pero this year I had time to celebrate it with few friends.  It was an unplanned celebration or let's say on the spot.

MEET, GREET & CELEBRATE:

This is Micay.  The helpful and thoughtful officemate slash friend of mine.  She inspired me to  continue my creativeness and being an organized person.

Bec-bec is nice who always have open arms to help most especially when it comes to work related problems.  Cash-flow balancing Gurl.

And I would like to thank my bestfriend Marigold for the yummier cupcakes I've ever eaten!  She still remembers my birthday (kay man gusto ya tigulang ko one year sa iya.). She sends birthday presents even without her presence.

I get closer to Ng Baby this year.  Though we are tandem in bank withdrawals ever since.  We get together during day trips.  She's generous too!  Ang Tiya ko nga hilaw.  Permi ya ko sakop bakal sud-an.

And this is Nyora.  The best among the bes.   He's...She's rather, my mentor when it comes to kalokohan.  Ka-chikahan. I admired her for being charming.  Pero indi ko namian magskandalo siya.  Masakit sa tenga!  Ha-ha.  Daw kulbaan man ta.  G5 ang dating nya.  Anyways, thanks so much for the so pink shirt.  I so <3 it="">

Thanks so much guys for spending your time with me during my birthday!  And to the rest na hindi ko nakasama sa on the spot birthday celebration, thank you at part rin kayo ng life's journey ko.  Ang swerte ko sa inyo.

JUST GIVE ME A REASON

Just Give Me A Reason

My friend Harry asked me through FB chat why I was so silent while we're in our friend's cafeteria- our tambayan.  I was actually in emo mode watching the flash of lightnings in the sky.  As if I'd have my own photoshoot.  I love watching lightnings minus the thunder while listening to my favorite song entitled "Just Give Me A Reason".

It's more than a couple of months I kept silent virtually.  Not for the reason that I was busy for the tax season but I have to admit it, I was also busy dating with a stranger who caught my attention and able to awaken my dead feeling of LOVE.  It was not actually the type of love at first sight but I caught up with his diskarte and being astig.  The love developed unexpectedly.

But to make the one month and a half relationship cut, it was ended last May 04, 2013.  The relationship was actually a memorable birthday gift for myself this year.

When did the photo bug bite you?
-Since I was a kid, I really like looking at the photos that every time I visits the someone's house I scan the photo albums.  Photos remind me of special people, memorable moments and beautiful places.


What was your first camera and what do you use now?
-I had an analog filmed Kodak camera when I was 8 years old given by my sister.  I only have Canon digital camera at present time.


Have you ever taken any photography courses?
-How I wish I've taken a photography lesson.  I am that kinda busy working 6 days a week and still working at home in Sundays.  I know everyone can take photos but it's really better to learn the how's and what's the best in capturing something as a photo subject.  For now, I am just learning photography by photo sharing and photography ideas from other online photographers. 


What inspires you to turn on the camera, the gotta have it shot?
-I inspired to take photos of cute little creatures, admirable people and beautiful views around me.  You can't replay anything visible to the naked eyes; you can't go back and take a shot for the second time around.  I also inspired of others' beautiful captured photos posted online. 


What is on your equipment wish list?
Maybe DSLR of any brand. 


Have you missed an awesome shot because you didn’t have your camera with you?
-On May 15, 2010, I noticed Venus appeared so close to the moon. It was mistaken as being inside  the crescent moon.  I was out and too bad I was not able to bring my cam with me.  My best friend even texted me asking if I saw the beautiful moment in the sky.

Blogging since ……
-I am blogging since May 30, 2007. 


Why  did you start blogging?
-I was a follower of a vegan Prince's blog.  And he encouraged me to blog too.  It's sad that he stopped blogging already. 


Is there a story  behind the name of your blog?
-My favorite color is red.  And I coined it with Lan to come up a codename.  Redlan-that's my virtual name.  I am into arts and I want to share it on the web.  REDLAN'S WEB OF ARTS that is. 

What does  blogging mean to you now?
-Blogging really means to me.  It's like my personal journal. I can write everything on it.  Moreover, I found virtual but real friends. 


What advice would  you give to a new blogger?
-Be yourself.  Most of the readers love to read personal posts.  Avoid blogging about negative things unless it turned positive or there's a lesson to learn from it.  Personally, I love to be inspired reading blogs. 


Do you have a  favorite time of the day to write posts?
-I am a night owl blogger.  I like to write a post when no one is disturbing me, no sound disturbance.  Most of the time, I write the post in rough drop before typing it.  I prefer doing it coz there will be no time in thinking and pausing while typing a blog post. 


Have  you set any goal about your blog? Anything you want to achieve with it?
-I don't have goals in blogging now.  All I want is to share my personal experiences and the things I learned and at the same time learning from others' blogs too.  And I already achieved to have a domain name and that is REDLAN'S BOOK OF LIFE.

If  you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
-First, I want to explore the whole 7,107 islands of my country.  For the record, I only visited the neighboring islands around my city.  Of course I want to go around the globe.  I would love to visit the cleanest country in Asia which is the country of Jama.  The greenest NZ where Ann and Pauline live.  The historical countries in Europe.  GingerV always entice me to visit Brazil.  And honestly I wish to come in the USA.  It's my ultimate dream since I was a kid.  :-)


What  would you like to teach others?
-I am usually a follower and a learner.  I prefer not to teach but to share. 


Which  adjectives best describe you?
Loyal.  I am loyal in everything including friends and when it comes to foods and clothes.  It is hard for me to trust new friends and to try new things.  But I am open to changes. 


What is  happiness to you?
-Happiness to me is when the people especially those who are important to me at their best. 


What are your basic stats  that you would like to share?
- I am a pure Filipino and I am gay.


Besides  blogging or photography, what is your favorite thing to do?
-I love to do crafts and I like the beach! 


Favorite saying or quotation:  (or any comment you would like to make)
-"Experience is the best teacher." 
-It's the best experience for me to part of the FSO group and be interviewed.  I really like to join the photo theme every week but sometimes am kinda busy at work.  With photo challenges, I learned to appreciate the nature fully and to show my own city as well.

FSO is not just a photo-sharing.  It's actually builds nations and friendship  We communicate and interact each other..  I wanna thank the founder Patty and Shabby Girl who are the founder of this group.  The administrators namely:  GingerV, ChefE, Gordon, Jen, Sarah, Doreen and the rest of the members.

I LOVE SOMETHING RED

Here comes the month of LOVE.  It's not the month of my birthday nor I am in love.  But for me, it's my month because I just simply love red.
