POSTCARDS- 03/28-04/01 2011

I was in the post office writing a message on the last postcard (out of the six postcards) I will send for postcrossing project when the lady in charge of the P.O. Box told me I have lots of postcards in my postal box.

Yes, there were 7 postcards for me this week and one envelope that contained 2 postcards.  I received the total of 9 postcards all in all.

When you listed numerous categories of what postcard you want to receive, it gives the postcard sender a lot of choices.  You will receive different kinds of postcards then.

The Rungus people of Malaysia- they are living mainly in the Kudat area of northern Sabah.  They are famous for the intricacy of their bead-work, an integral part of their traditional costume. Thank you so much Caroline for this unique postcard.  I love the stamp very much!

The vintage Siena
This postcard came from Belgium.  It's a vintage postcard to treasure.  According to Theo, the painter was an Italian, born in 1436.  This is another unique postcard I received this week.  Thanks so much Theo!

This is another art card.  It came from Czech Republic.  The painter and illustrator was Alfons Mucha.  The postcard is matched with a beautiful stamp.  I like both!  Thanks so much Jitka!  Give my regards to Lukas and meow back to Agnes and Garfield.

The beautiful view of Col-Legi Verge del Roser, Spain.  Thank you so much!

According to Merja, Reindeer are mostly in northern Finland.  The man on the postcard is a native from the North.  I like the national costume.  Thanks so much Merja!

 a nice view in China

Chinese people write in unique characters but they still have beautiful penmanship when they write in alphabet.  Jayne, I like your handwriting!  Not to mention the beautiful view postcards and the beautiful stamps too.  Thank you!

Canada owes much to its first nation people, the true founders of their country.  Le Canada doit  beaucoup aux gens des Premieres nations, les veritables fondateurs de notre pays in French.

This is a "thank you" card from Rob.  You surprised me buddy!  Thank you very much!

This mapcard is one of the 2 postcards I received from Wilma of Holland.  The other card is her ownself postcard taken several years ago wearing the national costume.  So beautiful!  Thanks so much Wilma!
Until next week guys!

I like the vintage Siena. I'm planning to print some of my UAE shots into postcard size and mail it to some blog pals. It's a long overdue project. ;)
