Harry is a nice friend to all.  He has great sense of humor!  I am always confident when I am with him and he makes us (his friends) laugh.

The local T.V. viewers are happy and enjoy more to watch Arangkada every morning especially on Thursdays because it's Bulante day!

NEIL ETHERIDGE SYNDROME

I have to admit it!  Neil Leonard Dula Etheridge got my attention after I saw his latest Folded & Hung video commercial.  Ha-ha.  I am now an online keeper of the Azkal's goalkeeper.  

NES #1 (Neil Etheridge Syndrome):  I posted this on FB with the caption:  Love to watch you while you're sleeping.  Having an insomnia right now.  And this is my latest mobile phone wallpaper.  (Kakalurks!) 

NES #2:  I grabbed the Men's Health mag because he is on the cover of the September 2011 issue.  And I also bought Cosmopolitan because he is one of the Cosmopolitan's 69 Bachelors 2011. 

NES #3:  I am following him on twitter Neil38Etheridge and one of his facebook page. 

This is the Folded & Hung underwear commercial that makes me crazy until now.  (I wish this NES will fade so soon!)

NES #4:  I immediately went @ Folded & Hung outlet to buy his thing.   Oh I mean, the one he is endorsing. 

I would not be surprised that I will switch from Branch to Folded & Hung like some of the celebrity endorsers.  No harm in trying new things.  And I do believe in the hatak or popularity of the endorser is really effective and a big influence to the public.

THE OTHER SIDE OF RUMAGANGRANG BEACH AND THE OTHER ISLAND CALLED YATO

Sunrise is one day more to hope!  Morning don't mean just getting up again.  It means God is giving us another chance to live life better than before, a chance to mend broken relationships, a chance to mend broken relationships (parang mali...for me to find another relationship), a chance to correct the wrong choices, a chance to love.

Good morning, good morning mga kapuso (line yan ni Nyora sa Bulante).  Opps, he was still sleeping.  He was tired of because of his wedding and honeymoon the day and night before. 

Joan and I decided to have a morning walk on the seashore while the rest of the guys were still snoring.  We were walking on the opposite side of the Rumagangrang beach and picking some shells (sigay) at the same time.  We were not talking with each other.  I guess, like me he was talking with his own mind too.  He helped me picking some beautiful shells because he knew that I am collecting them.  Moreover, I got the chance to take photos of the mother nature. 

We only stopped walking when we realized that we already far from our cottage.  We took a rest sitting on the big rock then decided to go back to the cottage.  The people were again alive to continue the fun.  We had breakfast together and was ready to go to the nearest island-  the Yato island on the east of the Cabalagnan.

It only takes ten minutes by boat, the maximum of 7 persons to Yato island from Cabalagnan, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras.  I was kinda excited because it will be my first time to explore the said island and nervous at the same time because the weather was kinda bad.

THE SAME SEX WEDDING PICTORIAL

Pictorial consumed much of the time during the wedding of Romeo and Joyce. Taking photos from the whole wedding entourage to the distant friends of both sides, can you imagine that?

It's the same old traditional pictorial yet, I wanna share the wedding pictorial with some basic fundamental rules I've learned to get better in photography from the book Digital Family Album Basics which I applied on this special occasion.

We all know that even professional photographers take hundreds of images without hesitation because they know that the more pictures they have to choose from, the better chance they'll get just the right one. Although you can learn ways to better compose a picture and to ensure that the lighting and other elements are properly set, you can't control the expression on your model or the chance that a person will walk in front of you or anything will be into the scene just when you push the shutter. 

Like what happened on the photo above. the blouse of the bridesgay (extreme right) flipped up.  Good thing I took another random shot (below).

You can lie down on the ground and look up at your subject; climb a tree and look down on your subject.  Charm!

It's easy to get used to shooting with the camera horizontal because that's how it's most comfortable to hold.  But try to experiment with different camera positions- you may even find turning your camera to an unusual angle.  It helps capture the energy of the moment.  


When photographing people, don't just take shots of them standing around looking at the camera,

look for an action,

search out things they can interact with

and don't be afraid to ask them to do something

and the photo shoot will be a lot more fun!

It was an occasion full of joy and satisfaction.  We had fun doing as if it was a real wedding.  Ha-ha. It was just a fulfillment after all.

THE SAME SEX WEDDING CEREMONY

Red is my favorite color and I was more delighted when I knew that my Bes chose to wear red gown on her/his wedding day.  Brides around the world have again started embracing the red gowns.

In India, a red saris is a common for the bride to wear.  It symbolizes good luck and will bring much happiness to the couple.  Japanese bride on the other hand, often wear red kimono dresses.  It symbolizes sexuality in marriage.  Chinese brides wear the color red to bring them joy, luck and prosperity in their marriage.  Brides in the United States wear a red wedding gown as a bold fashion statement. 

In the 1980's a red wedding gown was considered a luxury color by royalty.  It started embracing again in European countries and even here in the Philippines.  My Bes chose the red wedding gown for himself/herself not because she's a fan of Ms. Regine Velazquez but she opted for a dress that is more true to her own self-expression or of something she/he believe in.  Red is a symbol of love for many brides but for her/him, the choice of red wedding dress is cosmetic.  He/she wanted to stand out on her wedding day.  It accentuated her/his confidence and independence.
