3 IN ONE FUN @ GARINFARM

I was excited to start our journey @ GarinFarm- a 14 hectare inland resort in San Joaquin, Iloilo.  I was with Ng Baby and her daughter April, Biboy and Jeannica, Imee and Wowie.  Outside the gate pa lang kitang-kita mo na how artistic and well developed na ang resort.  How unique and colorful the recycled materials na ginawang fence. I've been in some inland resort around Iloilo already pero it's only in Garin Farm na meron Pilgrimage.  Actually, the resort's concept is a combination of agriculture, leisure and pilgrimage.  Kaya sulit yung 150 php na entrance fee.  The group of more than 20 persons will get a discount for only 120 php each person.  It made me excited to explore even more!  GarinFarm is a journey of fun (leisure section), spiritual connection (Pilgrimage area) and journey of embracing the natural way of living (the agriculture part).

GarinFarm see to it to offer the needs of the guests.  Sa entrance pa lang merong built in comfort room for women and the other one for men beside the exit.  (Sa haba ng byahe, pag dating pa lang cr na agad ang pupuntahan.)  Outside foods and drinks are not allowed.  I guess, the reason is to maintain cleanliness in the area.  Aside from that, the resort wanted the guests to savor its own products.  Needless to say, they have processing facilities in the resort that produces VCO, coco sugar, banana cakes and chip and more delicacies.  My favorite is the coco sap!

You can take a golf cart ride from the entrance gate to Pavilion.  It cost 60 php (3 pax ride)

Or follow this sign :-)

Take a walk.  There are umbrellas available to use for free.

The first section that you will pass as you enter the gate is the 1,000 sq. meter agriculture area. Do you still memorize the "bahay kubo" song?  Ha-ha.  They have some vegetables mentioned in the song plus the fruits and livestock.  I am pretty sure, they are working or on process of adding more vegetables, fruits and domestic animals.  I love watching thousands of pigeons in the area!

The second part that I enjoyed most is the Pilgrimage area wherein you can be in God's Time.  You will be able to experience to be with the life-size statues and have a spiritual reflection.  Then, we continued our journey through the 456 steps to the Divine Mercy Cross on the hilltop.

After the climb, we were able to take a rest and continued our journey to the leisure area.  They have 300 meter zip-line, the man-made lagoon for fishing, boating, kayaking and horse-back riding.  What I like most is the swimming pool!  Indeed, it's more fun @ GarinFarm!

It was a fast forwarded journey for the first-timer like me. After two weeks, I came back and enjoyed the journey again with another group of friends.

And this is one of the scrapbooking pages I made as a souvenir during my GarinFarm inland resort's journey.
It's not the end.  There are more to tell and show.  Again, it's to be continued....
