POSTCROSSING 2011

I really can't manage to update my three blogs.  So I decided to give up my postcard collection blog.  But it doesn't mean I give up the postcrossing project.  I still love to send and receive postcards.  I still continue the said hobby. And the postcard journey will be posted here.

In postcrossing project, the first thing I do is to write the address of the postcrosser.

Write my personal message for him/her.  This is usually my message and my trademark- the red roses I draw.

I put the stamps amounting to 13 php.

SUNSET AND SUNRISE 2011

SUNSET is God's beautiful signature at the end of a day.

SUNRISE is His welcome greeting to start the day.

It's been days I wanted to catch and take photos of both sunrise and sunset.  Sometimes you think, it's a perfect day but it turns not.  There's always the right time.  You have to wait it.

Finally, like sunset or sunrise, it's your time to shine.  Congratulations to Angeline Quinto who won the title of New Female Pop Superstar!

E-MAILS vs SNAIL MAILS

When it comes to communication, our world is becoming increasingly high-tech. There’s the popular Facebook.  Hmmm Twitter too! It might cause some to think that letter-writing is TOO OLD SCHOOL. The tech-savvy people of our world might think I am TOO OLD because I still write handwritten-letters and love to do back-to-basic things still. FYI, I am following the new world but I still practice the old age-style. I still love to do it especially during electricity interruption. It’s like, I still love the hand-job even there’s the insert coin machine. Ha-ha. Handmade things give me much pleasure and I always appreciate the effort. I always like personalized stuff.

There are few people who are like me. I have an online friend in postcrossing project (I've mentioned few months ago)  who is into letter-writing too.  We both writing each other even if we are friends on Facebook.  There's excitement every time you receive a snail mail. I always inspired to write using my hand.  And I love my hand-writing. 

I use different styles in writing.  It depends on my mood.  I am not even in the mood to write sometimes.  But when I am so inspired, a lot of great ideas comes along in my mind. 

It's been several months the last time I sent my reply.  So I made it a point to write more.

This is a post it inspired letter for the month of January & February in one.

 I sent the letter last February 09, 2011.  Fabrice and Laurent received it last Thursday, February 17th.

Fabrice informed me on FB:  WOWOWOW !!!!! I got it yesterday, I got it yesterday !! THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU !

GREEN ROSE, GREEN HEART

I can't wait to watch the Philippine version of Green Rose starring Anne Curtis as Angela, Jericho Rosales as Jerome Delgado, Jake Cuenca as Edward Fuentebella and Alessandra De Rossi As Geena Rallos.  It will  be aired starting Monday, on Valentine's Day.  Originally, Green Rose is a Korean drama television series that aired in March 2005 which stars Go Soo, Lee Da Hae, Lee Jong Hyuk and Kim Suh Hyung.


Speaking of VALENTINE, well, I have not much to say.  My heart turns Green this VALENTINE 2011.

BOOKS, PADS & PENS

I am so inspired to write post it messages using Stabilo pens on the memo cube pad.

I started reading Eat Pray Love and What the Dog Saw. But I am not done reading even just one of the two books mentioned.

I love looking at the set of Stabilo pens and Memo cube pads.  I wish I can use them forever. 

 

THE NEW CHARACTER OF THIS BLOG

I am the second valuable member in my family.  I have an older brother Blue.  By the way, I am golden yellow.  My younger sister is Violet.  Next to her is Red.  And my youngest sister is orange.

Some people call me 5H.  5 Aw Aw to others.  Generally, they call me Wawart.

LOVE MONTH

It's February!

I woke up @ 5:30 am, sipped a cup of hot milk.  Yes, I am in a healthy diet.  No coffee, no soda and it's almost 4 months now.  I still drink milk with coffee, coke, and San Mig Light during my health monthsary and that's the weird part.  Ha-ha.

February is a love month, you can give love to anyone... to your family, friends, work, pets, and special someone if you STILL have one.  LOVE is universal after all.

It's month of Paraw Regatta here in my city- the city of love and that is ILOILO CITY
