CELEBRATING FRIENDSHIP

I love to treat my friends with a well-deserved meal but the reality is I am not gifted in the kitchen department.  So we always ended up eating outside.  I gather them to enjoy meal at the restaurant.  I celebrate friendship with them and savor out time together.  We always have a good conversation in between mouthfuls of dishes.

There is a latest Mexican restaurant called Mooon (with 3 O's) located beside Robinsons Place and has a newly opened branch beside SM City that I used to introduce to my friends.

this is my all time favorite, Nacho de Salsa

and the Moon steak

CHAPTER 2- HAPPY BEAR

I've done posting the topics I mentioned in my first chapter.  And this is the CHAPTER 2.  I've been busy as always.  Not to mention the brownout that caused work-delay.  On the lighter side, I enjoy dating with my baby.  Naks!  It is just for the sake of letter B.

Dating of 4 is more fun!

I also had great time with friends watching movies

and ate out.

More birthdays were celebrated this month of November until December.  I just gave birthday presents but I was absent in the celebration. :-(

I bought some books .

and  started giving some pre-Christmas gifts
For my online life, I made a photo scrapbook of churches found in Iloilo and sent to my online friend Fabrice

in return for the cute Eiffel Tower he sent to me.

And for more than 2 years of being a member of postcrossing site, My wish was granted to be one of the top ten Philippine postcrossers.  Ayay!

That's all for this time.  I will post the topics mentioned here.  See you around!

THE UNIQUENESS OF EVERY CREATURES

Bison are made in such a way that their natural inclination is to look down; the design of their neck makes it difficult for them to look up.  In contrast, giraffes are designed in a way their necks were made  that makes it difficult for them to look down.  Giraffes eat leaves from branches above while Bison eat grass from the field below.

When I went home last "UNDAS", I was able to discover the uniqueness of the spider.  Unlike before when I used to let them fight each other on a stick.

spider-hunting with my niece and nephew not for the fight but to take photos of. lmao

Spiders are capable of producing  up to 8 different silks.  They produce silken thread using several paired spinneret glands.  Each gland produces a thread of special purpose.

Spiders build webs to catch prey.  Webs allow a spider to catch prey without having to expend energy by running it down.  Insects can get trapped in spider webs, providing nutrition to the spider.  Thus, it is an efficient method of gathering food.

There is strong evidence that spider's coloration is camouflage that helps them to evade their major predators, birds and parasitic wasps, both of which have good color vision.

Many spiders are colored so as to merge with their most common backgrounds.  Several coloration schemes are present in a ratio that appears to remain constant, and this may make it more difficult for predators to recognize them.

The spider, after spinning its web, will then wait on or near the web for a prey insect to become trapped.  The spider senses the impact and struggle of a prey insect by vibrations transmitted through the web.  A spider positioned in the middle of the web makes for a highly visible prey for birds and other predators

Spiders do not usually adhere to their own webs because they are able to spin both sticky and non-sticky types of silk, and are careful to travel across only non-sticky portions of the web.

As we both observe the animals and people around us, we're reminded that God made each of us unique for a purpose.  God gave us individual talents and gifts so that we can use it and work together as a body.

THE BEST OF FRIENDSHIP

I learned that using "hate" word is harse to other people.  Once I chatted with my American friend and I told him I hate crossdressers.  He immediately responded that he didn't like that particular line.  He suggested that I should use "I don't like" rather than "I hate".  He had an ex crossdresser partner.

Not all gays are "parlor" gays.  I'm not.  But soon, I realized, I have no right to judge those who are.  They're are still gay, like me.  And they're just as human as you and me.

In fact, I found a true friendship with my high school barkada who preferred to be freeway gay.  No transsexual operation undergone though.

Friendship is not based on the physical aspect, the status of life and the power or capacity to do things as long as friends treat you like themselves.  I even met and made friends with people who only remember to text you when they need something from you and don't remember you after.  Though I'm not really the type who would text or email or call or meet often, I keep in touch somehow.

What I like about Harry is that he appreciate the good deeds and he always say "thank you".  Thanks for the true friendship "best" (best in everything, that is).

FIRSTS ARE ALWAYS REMEMBERED

First are always remembered.  I can't forget my first visit in the city, the first ice cream treat, the first movie I've watched, the MC Do birthday treat.  Oh my first kiss and even the time I lost my virginity.  What about the first break up?  First are not all memorable that is.

I always wanted to be the first in someone's life especially the kids.  I wanted them to experience the same first best things I had.  Forget about the bad ones.  It is because I wanted to be remembered in the kind and good way.

If you still remember my facebook update I posted:  "I will tour my nephew around the city later.  If you happened to see us, don't think I am a pedophile.

So this is it....

I EAT MY OWN WORDS

Yes, I admit, I am in an open relationship right now with someone I've met before which I never expected to be part of my present life.  I don't expect that this kind of relationship will be forever though.  Mahirap mag-expect sa third world relationship unless martyr ka, walang limit o bottomless ang effort mo or forever ka maging tanga lalo na kapag ang ka-involve ay isang straight at hindi tulad mo na kulot.  I once believed in forever love but I learned to be happy and enjoy every chessy, corny and sweet moment of a relationship.  After I experienced bitterness and be brokenhearted twice, I set myself to enjoy being single then.  But my circle life that evolved only with my family and friends formed into a rainbow one more time.

What you gonna do if:

*Someone keep texting you even he lost his cellphone.  (May nag text!)
*That person availed someon else unlimited call to phone you. (Tig a gid?)
*He is a straight guy but he talks about you and your real identity to his family.  (Masakit sa bangs!)
*He plays like your father and keep reminding you and you can feel the care.  (Yes, tay!)
*He event don't care to be around with other people to show his care.  (Basta walang PDA okay sa akin.)
*He even invited you to meet his family.

And what if his mother wanted to talk to you and wanted to thank you for treating his son the way she do? (Eto ang nakakaloka!)

I finally GAVE IN.  But then again, I don't expect this open relationship will last forever.  I am not in love but I just enjoy the love itself.  I am happy and make someone's happy at the same time.

For me, open relationship is a relationship of no rules.  No commitment.  It's being in a relationship to enjoy every moment, adjusting ones differences and show love.  No promises.  Even no sex involved.  (char!)

PUSONG LIGAW by Jericho Rosales

Verse:1

Di kita malimutan
Sa mga gabing nagdaan
Ikaw ang pangarap
Nais kong makamtam
Sa buhay ko ay
Ikaw ang kahulugan
Pag-Ibig ko'y
Walang kamatayan
Ako'y umaasang
Muli kang mahagkan

Chorus:

Ikaw pa rin ang hanap ng
Pusong ligaw
Ikaw ang patutunguhan at
Pupuntahan
Pag ibig mo ang hanap ng
Pusong ligaw
Mula noon, bukas at
Kailanman

Verse:2

Ikaw at ako; y
Sinulat sa mga bituin
At ang langit
Sa gabi ang sumasalamin
Mayroong lungkot at pananabik
Kung wala ka'y kulang ang mga
Bituin
Aasa ako, (aasa ako)
Babalik(babalik)
Ang ligaya,
Aking mithi(sa kin mata)
Hanggang sa muling(Hanggang)
Pagkikita(pagkikita)
Sasabihin mahal kita

Chorus:
Ikaw pa rin ang hanap ng
Pusong ligaw
Ikaw ang patutunguhan at
Pupuntahan
Pag ibig mo ang hanap ng
Pusong ligaw
Mula noon, bukas at
Kailanman

Mula noon, bukas at kailanman
Mula noon bukas at kailanman

BANATE, ILOILO- THE HOME OF KASAG FESTIVAL

I like on the spot trip.  A day preparation is okay for me..  SO when my friend invited me to come over to his own town, I said yes.  I invited Harry to accompany me and fortunately he was available.  We went then to Dueñas, Iloilo, the home of Kasag festival.  It was again my first time.  I am kinda adventurous.

Traveling late in the afternoon made it more exciting.  We did not know where to go exactly.  But still I was confident.  Thanks to that mobile phone was discovered.  We kept updating with each other from time to time.

At 5:30 in the afternoon we left bus terminal in Tagbak, Jaro.  We passed the town of Leganes, Zarraga, Barotac Nuevo and Anilao.  We arrived in Banate @ 7.30 pm.

We had dinner at ECO PARK and spent the whole night at CRCI Resort.

We went back to Iloilo City early in the morning.  But before that. I waited the sunrise and we had some souvenir shots before we bid goodbye.

Hopefully, we'll be back next month to witness the KASAG FESTIVAL.
